This September, welcome to Wenzhou and watch the dragon boat races! Alisher, a graduate student of Wenzhou Medical University and a member of "Hai’Ou Community", went to Wenzhou Dragon Boat Sports Center to decode the design concept of this venue under the guidance of Wang Qinxiao, Deputy Director of the Center's Technical Operations. 

Wenzhou Dragon Boat Sports Centre is not only a race field for the Asian Games, but also a platform for showcasing Wenzhou’s traditional culture. The venue consists of the Qianlong Pavilion, Athletes Comprehensive Hall, Guanlong Deck, Zhongdian Tower and other buildings. The whole building shape looks like a dragon. 

The Guanlong Pavilion, which is in the shape of dragon ridge, impressed Alisha most. "It turns out that a building could show different appearance designs when viewed from different angles." Alisha exclaimed. 

The Asian Games Month has come, let’s look forward to the grand opening of the dragon boat races, feeling the wonderful Wenzhou dragon boat culture!
