On Sept. 6th, more than 30 international friends gathered at Wenzhou Dragon Boat Sports Base to appreciate the charm of dragon boat and to feel Wenzhou people’s enthusiasm for the Asian Games.

The international friends visited Wenzhou Dragon Boat Culture Museum at first. As a subsidiary venue of Wenzhou Dragon Boat Base, it is an important window to display Wenzhou dragon boat culture. Following the lecturer of the museum, our international friends learned about dragon boat’s origin, development history, special customs and so on. Fahmi from Tanzania said, "More than 85 countries and regions in the world have carried out dragon boat races. This sport does have its unique charm."

Afterwards, our international friends visited Wenzhou Dragon Boat Sports Center. As the playing field of the dragon boat race of Hangzhou Asian Games, this sports center is the most standard and high-end dragon boat sports competition venue in Asia.

At the end of the tour, many international friends chose to make video-recordings at Wenzhou Dragon Boat Sports Center. The erected boat tower became an Internet-famous spot, while the podium also attracted a lot of people. During the Hangzhou Asian Games, there will be 6 gold medals produced in this venue.
