As the weather in the northern hemisphere is getting cold, the global situation of the COVID-19 has changed rapidly. Starting on the Oct. 29, the websites of Chinese embassies inthe United States, France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Poland and other countries have successively issued the “Notice of Boarding with Two Negative Certificates of Nucleic Acid Test of COVID-19 and Serum Antibody Test".

As the weather in the northern hemisphere is getting cold, the global situation of the COVID-19 has changed rapidly. Starting on the Oct. 29, the websites of Chinese embassies inthe United States, France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Poland and other countries have successively issued the “Notice of Boarding with Two Negative Certificates of Nucleic Acid Test of COVID-19 and Serum Antibody Test".
Before that, those traveling by flight to China are required to obtain the negative certificate of nucleic acid test of COVID-19before they board the flight.
In addition to the requirement to board the plane with two negative certificates, the notice issued by embassies also reminds those who depart from the country where the embassy is located and transit to China via a third countrymust undergo a second nucleic acid test and serum IgM antibody test in the transit country. Furthermore, a time limit should be set up for the second test.
The embassies specially recommend travelers to go to China by direct flight and avoid the transit through third county. If you need a transfer, please carefully figure out the entry regulations of the country you intend to transfer, as well as the relevant requirements for nucleic acid test and serum IgM antibody test in the transit country, so as not to be blocked by the second flight.
It is noteworthy that the implementation time of the policy of boarding with two negative certificates varies from country to country. The effective date is Nov. 4, November 6, Nov. 7, and Nov. 8. Specific details must be checked on the websites of each embassy.
