Forgot to wear a mask when taking a bus? "Honest Masks" help you!

In order to prevent and control the COVID-19, citizens in Wenzhou still need to wear masks when taking buses. However, what should they do if they forget to wear a mask after arriving at the bus stop, or their masks are suddenly ripped apart? 

Since Sept. 24, the “Honest Masks” boxes have been set up on 39 stations along BRT Line 1. If citizens taking the BRT forget to wear masks, they can pay and collect the masks from the boxes by themselves.

The reporter saw that the "Honest Masks" box has been set up outside the gate of the BRT station, and words "口罩护我行，爱心接力棒(Masks protect us, love relays from one to one) " are written on the transparent box. The box is divided into two parts. The top is a coin box, and masks are put on the bottom, and the front of the box is printed with a donation QR code for the Xuejun Studio, the branch of Wenzhou Charity Federation.

According to reports, the “Honest Masks" box are operated in unsupervised way, and citizens can collect masks by themselves by coin-inserting, WeChat code-scanning or voluntary donation. All the proceeds from the sales of "Honest Masks" will be remitted to the Wenzhou Charity Federation's account, which will be used to purchase more “Honest Masks”, then to be provided to citizens. 

The first batch of 3,000 masks are put into use by Wenzhou Transportation Group BRT Co., Ltd.

If the proceeds of "Honest Masks" can’t afford the subsequent release of masks, the Wenzhou Charity Federation will allocate funds to purchase them.

The reporter was informed that Wenzhou Transportation Group Chengdong Bus Co., Ltd. has also set up "Honest Masks" boxes on 15 bus lines including Line 55 and Line 48, which are convenient for citizens who forget to wear masks.
