Mid-March finds Wenzhou adorned with around 2,000 beauty plum trees blooming along major thoroughfares such as Fudong Road, Xincheng Avenue, Jinxiu Road, Nanpu Road, Niushan Road, Guojing Road, and Qidu Avenue. Year after year, these floral sentinels honor their seasonal pact, their falling petals dancing with spring breezes. These beauty plum trees embrace the entire city, resembling pretty girls "lowered brows and blushing faces whispering shyly" as they orchestrate the poetic spring symphony of Jiangnan's grace and Dong'ou's picturesque charm.

A botanical marvel blending winter and spring, the beauty plum stands as a floral "hybrid beauty." Born from the union of double-petaled palace-pink plum blossoms and purple-leaf plum trees, it inherits the finest traits from both parents. Its blooms showcase layered pink petals in lavish profusion, while purple-red foliage gains distinctive allure beneath the floral cascade.

These beauties maintain their floral spectacle for approximately 20 days, with this plum-blossom pageant persisting until late March's zenith of spring.
