It is learned from Wenzhou Longwan International Airport that at 7:00 a.m. on March 18, the airport's new ride-hailing pickup zone was put into trial operation to resolve congestion issues during peak hours at terminal entrances. The new facility aims to provide travelers with more comfortable waiting environments and improved transportation efficiency. Located on the B1 level of Area A in the airport's comprehensive transportation center, the upgraded pickup zone features enhanced comfort, expanded space, and optimized service efficiency.

To facilitate swift driver-passenger connections, the 4,172.95-square-meter area is divided into orange and blue zones containing 9 pickup points. Each pickup spot can accommodate up to 6 ride-hailing vehicles simultaneously. Both waiting areas are equipped with seating, LCD screens, and vending machines, offering passengers a comfortable environment while displaying real-time vehicle arrival information. Travelers can access the pickup zone from domestic arrivals via escalators/elevators to B1 level, proceed straight through S1/S2 passageways to Huanyouli Shopping Center entrance, then turn left following signage to reach designated pickup points.

The smart management system enables passengers to check cab arrival information on digital displays and proceed directly to assigned pickup locations. Points 1-5 are designated for DiDi vehicles while 6-9 serve Gaode platforms. Drivers can enjoy free parking if exiting within 25 minutes during the trial period by parking in marked bays, where passengers can quickly identify vehicles via license plates or parking numbers.
