Off the stage, Chinese and foreign friends gathered together to taste mooncakes, guess lantern riddles, make sugar figurines and rice sculptures ......

On the evening of Sept. 27, the “Rapturous Mid-Autumn Festival”friendship event, sponsored by Wenzhou Cyberspace Administration and organized by the Committee for Liaison with Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Overseas Chinese and Foreign Affairs of CPPCC Lucheng District Committee, Lucheng District Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Qidu Subdistrict Office,  "Daka China·Hai’Ou Community” Internet Communication Center, Wenzhou University, and Zhejiang Chinese Culture Overseas Communication Promotion Association, was held in Wenzhou Overseas Media Center, with nearly 100 guests participating for cultural exchange.

The guests included international friends from a number of countries, representatives of overseas Chinese leaders, as well as Lucheng District CPPCC members, and international students from Wenzhou University. The huge inflatable moon, rabbit lamps, Chinese costumes, Chang'e, lanterns, all of them were showcasing the traditional customs of the Mid-Autumn Festival in multi-angle, giving out a festive and peaceful vibe.

For promoting Wenzhou's excellent traditional culture better, the organizes especially set up intangible cultural heritage stalls such as Ou Porcelain, Rice Sculpture, Sugar Figurine, etc. making guests have and immersive experience.

Different from celebrations in previous years, a small bazaar was created in this event. Seven or eight special food trucks lined up together, providing various services for guests.

Hamad, who is from Pakistan, said he has participated in the Mid-Autumn Celebration for many times. Every year he could receive different surprises, and meet a lot of friends from different countries. Wenzhou really give him a feeling of home."
