In order to promote the innovative development of Wenzhou auto and motorcycle parts industry, strengthen the innovation design drive, and promote the transformation and upgrading of the auto and motorcycle parts industry, the "Yunjiang Cup" Auto and Motorcycle Parts Design Special Award Competition of the 2022 Industrial Design Competition will be held inChina (Wenzhou).

I. Theme  

· Theme: green, low carbon,  common wealth.

· Aim: to promote the common prosperity of Wencheng, cultivate the development of ecologically superior industries, introduce and train green design talents, enhance the level of auto-motorcycle design empowerment, and promote the high-quality development of Wenzhou auto-motorcycle industry.

III. Submitting Work and Award

Categories of works

· Auto parts design: mainly for traditional cars or new energy vehicles related parts, including but not limited to exterior parts, interior parts, brakes and brake assembly system, EFI system assembly, wiper motor system assembly, clutch assembly, high-end modified brake assembly, suspension system and other key auto parts field design, etc.

· Car modification design: mainly modifying and designing the existing models, including but not limited to external surroundings, audio, car pedals, shock absorbers, wheels, reinforcement parts, lighting, interior trim, luggage rack, etc.

· Auto products design: mainly auto-related peripheral extension products, including but not limited to car fans, car aromatherapy, car electrical appliances, cell phone holders, shelves, multi-functional hooks, car defrost, fog, snow, ice products, car formaldehyde products, car shading products, anti-sickness products, etc.

 Award settings

· The International Fashion Design Competition has 1 Gold Award, 3 Silver Awards, 6 Bronze Awards and 10 Merit Awards, with awards of RMB 20,000, RMB 10,000, RMB 5,000 and RMB 1,000 respectively.

· Several finalists and one souvenir of the competition.

· Organizational Award (non-judgmental awards): For those who actively participate in the organization, promotion and collection of works to recommend more than 20 works to participate in the competition, they can be shortlisted for the Organizational Award and given certain awards.

IV. Work requirements

·  Participants submit one electronic version of the design drawing (JPG format picture, A3 horizontal format, resolution 120 dpi) through the application system. Each (series) entry can only provide one design drawing (horizontal composition), the content of the drawing contains the theme, hand-drawn or computer rendering (product award can be physical photos), the necessary structural drawings, basic appearance dimensions and description text (the total number of words in the layout is limited to 100 words, describing the design theme and concept, etc.), the drawing must not appear any information related to the designer.

·  All submitted works must be original and have not won awards in various competitions.

·  Finalists for the finalists' works have been listed products need to provide proof of sales revenue and products in kind in the past two years, not yet mass production of conceptual design works, finalists should provide models or prototypes, the organizers provide a subsidy of up to 1,000 yuan.

V. Policy Support

The policy support refers to the second to seventh articles of the policy of the 2022 "Mayor's Cup"  Industrial Design Competition,China (Wenzhou).

VI. Criteria & Judging

·  The preliminary round: For the special award entries, a panel of expert judges will make a preliminary assessment of the entries on-site or through an online judging system. The number of entries selected for the final round of the Special Award Competition will depend on the different categories situations.

·  The final round: The finalists will be judged by a panel of experts who will select the gold, silver and bronze medal winners. The gold and silver winners of the “Special Award” can also choose to participate in the “Product Award” and “Creativity Award ” in the repechage round of the 2022 Mayor's Cup" Industrial Design Competition, China (Wenzhou) competition, and the winner can choose the higher bonus of the special competition award, product award and creativity award(choose one, non-repeated). 

VII. Calendar

· June 30, 2022:   Submission of preliminary competition works  

· July 2022:   Preliminary evaluation and announcement of shortlist  

· August 2022:   Final evaluation

September -- November 2022:   Award Ceremony (to be announced)

VIII. Ownership of Works

The intellectual property rights of all entries belong to the authors. The organizing committee has the right to promote, display and publish the works.

All electronic materials submitted for the competition will not be returned.

IX. Registration and submission of works

Domestic and foreign design institutions and enterprises, teachers and students of higher education institutions, and independent designers are eligible to apply for the competition. Participating units and individuals can declare more than one entry, but each entry can only be submitted in one category of one award, otherwise it is considered invalid.
