Wenzhou Shrimp Noodles
Wenzhou has the tradition of eating shrimps. Wenzhou people always store up fishes and shrimps entertain relatives, friends and distinguished guests during the holidays.
Shrimps used for making shrimp noodles need to be beaten into thin slices with a wooden stick. After being beaten into thin slices, the shrimp meat is more elastic and smooth. If it is fried with seasonings, it is more tasty and popular with Wenzhou people.
