The overseas communication group’s tour in Cangnan

Unique wedding customs, ancient traditional hand-made articles, passionate indigenous nations games... Recently, the film crew of Wenzhoudaily's column "Young朋友in温州" led the foreign anchors Sumayyah and Hamad to come to the “She” Minority Nationality Township in Fengyang, Cangnan for experiencing the marriage customs of the She people, and exploring the traditional customs that accompany the continuous growth of the She people.

It is reported that Fengyang “She” Minority Nationality Township is located in the mountainous area in the southeastern part of Cangnan County. It is the ethnic township with the highest proportion of ethnic minorities in Zhejiang province. It has a long history of “She” culture, strong regional customs and rich tourism resources. In this experience event of traditional “She” wedding, the festive red sedan chair and those different-styles’ dowries   made Sumayyah from Mauritius and Hao Mengde from Pakistan full of curiosity. The couple also wore traditional  wedding costumes of She people.

"Why does the bride cry when she gets married?" "What is the special meaning of the clod on the table?" Sumayyah was also curious about those traditional customs. She said that she felt very happy to be able to wear such beautiful ethnic wedding costumes and looked forward to coming to Cangnan again in the future.

After going through the wedding custom, the overseas communication group also participated in traditional “She” wedding banquets, indigenous nations games, and experienced the “She” traditional projects such as weaving ribbons and weaving straw shoes. "The She” people here are really amazing. The handmade accessories they make are exquisite and beautiful. I want to take some back and give them to my foreign friends as gifts." Sumayyah repeatedly said.
