On the evening of August 5, a magnificent Ou Embroidery experience event launched by WenzhouDaily that under Wenzhou Overseas Media Center, was held in the "Meeting· Wuma" Livestreaming Studio on Wuma Street, Lucheng District, Wenzhou.

Brett Lyndall Singh, our foreign anchor from South Africa, and Yu Qiong, the craft artist and inheritor of the Intangible Heritage - Ou Embroidery, introduced the beauty of Wenzhou Ou Embroidery to the people at home and abroad by 5G livestreaming and VR technology.

This live broadcast, in addition to being launched through Wenzhou’s first official international communication account "Young朋友in温州", it’s also posted on the bilingual media platforms (in Chinese and English) such as InZhejiang, WenzhouDaily, Overseas Releases,News client of Wenzhou TV station,Media Center of Lucheng District and so on, to promote it to the whole world.

During the livestreaming process, Ms. Yu Qiong introduced in detail the development history of Ou Embroidery, its production methods, and its characteristic of combination of handicrafts. This precious handicraft usually takes landscape and humanities as the themes, showing the beauties of China in embroidery manufactured by needle and threads.
