"These ribbons are so nice and the ethnic costumes are so beautiful. I have never experienced folklore activity like this before. Today’s visit is really worthwhile!" Mope, a girl from Lesotho, Africa, shared her excitement with WenzhouDaily. In this episode of video program "Handshake with the World·Listen to the Voices of Wenzhou", the film crew leveled their pickup camera at Wencheng County, leading Mope in visiting the Rangchuan Village, “She” Ethnic Minority Township. On the occasion of the Chinese New Year, we deliver the voice of folklore culture to all the friends at home and abroad.

It is reported that Rangchuan Village is located in Xikeng “She” Ethnic Minority Township, Wencheng County, Wenzhou. Walking into Rangchuan Village, we feasted our eyes on the scenes characterized with the elements of ethnic minority as Sanwei bookstore, stone walls, ancient road, ribbon lane, stone house labyrinth and wall paintings., etc. All of them fully came into our views, really making us fall in love with Rangchuan.

Mope, the protagonist of this video, is an international student from Wenzhou University. She has lived in Wenzhou for 2 years. During the video-shooting, Mope followed the “She” girl to experience road-blocking songs, rice cake pounding, bamboo pole dance and other activities.
