Every year, Oct. 1 is China's National Day, and the 7-day holiday from 1st to 7th is also called the "Golden Week". 

This year's "Golden Week" collides with the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, which also means that the 8-day-long holiday is about to start!


How to grab a train ticket


Online：（the pre-sale period is 30 days. It means tickets for Oct. 1 can be purchased from Sept. 2）

What if I don't grab the ticket?


Wait-for-Purchase Service


1.Use the "候补购票服务(Wait-for-Purchase Service)" function on the China Railway 12306 website and App. 


When there is no ticket for the required train and seat, passengers can submit their wait-for-purchase requirements, and start waiting online after pre-payment of the ticket. 


The ticket sales system will automatically redeem the tickets when the tickets of corresponding train and seat are generated for sale due to ticket-refunds, ticket changes and other services. The success rate of using this serviceto get a ticket is high.
