Say No to Disposable Plastic Tableware
The disposable plastic tableware will banned for sale from Jan 1, 2021!
9 national departments including the National Development and Reform Commission, and the Ministry of Ecology and Environment jointly issued relevant notices, proposing that from January 1, 2021, the use of non-degradable plastic shopping bags is prohibited at shopping malls, supermarkets, pharmacies, bookstores and other places in province-level municipalities, provincial capital cities, and cities under separate planning.
Furthermore, it is not allowed to use in catering and takeaway services, as well as in various exhibition activities, however, rolling bags, fresh-keeping bags and garbage bags are not forbidden. 
At the same time The production and sale of disposable plastic cotton-swabs and disposable foamed plastic tableware will be banned nationwide from next year.
The non-degradable disposable plastic straws are not allowed to use in the catering industry nationwide, but the built-in straws which are put onto the food packing bags such as milk and beverages are temporarily not prohibited.
