Headline: Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Shares Safari’s "International Makers' China Tour" Story in Guizhou
The "International Makers' China Tour," organized by the Zhejiang International Communication Center, the Overseas Chinese and Foreign Liaison Committee of Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the China Zhi Gong Party, and Wenzhou Maritime Silk Road Communication Center, recently visited Guizhou. On August 11, a spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry reposted and praised a short video of the tour on X (formerly Twitter), highlighting the visit of Safari—a Congolese livestreaming influencer based in Wenzhou—to the "Red Ribbon," Guizhou’s Digital Art Museum of Long March Culture.

Safari (Chinese name: Ping’an), a graduate of Wenzhou University, joined the Wenzhou International Youth Entrepreneurship Park last year. After obtaining an "entrepreneurship visa," he founded an international trading company. While selling Chinese goods overseas, he also works as a prominent social media influencer, actively promoting cultural exchanges. He serves as a foreign host for the Wenzhou Maritime Silk Road Communication Center and a special host for the Zhejiang International Communication Center.
Earlier this year, the organizers launched the "International Makers' China Tour," with previous stops in Yiwu and Quzhou. Guizhou marked the third leg of the journey. Safari, alongside other international makers from the Wenzhou International Youth Entrepreneurship Park, documented their experiences through the lens of international youth. During the Guizhou visit, a short video produced by the Guizhou International Communication Center, featuring Safari and his peers touring the "Red Ribbon," caught the attention of the Foreign Ministry spokesperson. Additionally, the Guizhou Daily showcased Safari’s visit to the Huajiang Canyon Bridge—the world’s tallest bridge—in its "International Makers' China Tour" series.
