Recently, National Administration for Market Regulation officially issued a document granting the Lucheng District Market Supervision Administration in Wenzhou the authority to manage the registration of foreign-invested enterprises. South Korean youth entrepreneur Jerrmy Ko successfully obtained the business license for his technology company as the first registered foreign-invested enterprise, officially establishing his company in Wenzhou International Youth Entrepreneurship Park. This registration also marks the entry of Lucheng’s foreign investment registration services into a new stage characterized by “localized processing within the district and efficient procedures.”

Jerrmy Ko has long been engaged in China-South Korea trade and previously founded several enterprises in Shanghai. This year, with the launch of Wenzhou International Youth Entrepreneurship Park and the introduction of supporting talent policies, Lucheng’s increasingly optimized industrial ecosystem and open environment attracted him to invest and expand his business here. It is reported that from now on, all foreign-invested enterprises and their branches located in Lucheng District, Wenzhou City, can complete their registration within the district. The approval of foreign investment registration authority not only reflects the National Administration for Market Regulation’s high recognition of Lucheng’s vitality in foreign investment development and its government service capabilities but also represents a significant measure to promote institutional openness and optimize the business environment.
