Editor's note: What can a seed be turned into? Will it be the sweet rice on the dining table, a tasty watermelon sold in hot summer, or the vegetable placed on the supermarket shelves? Living in modern cities, we may not be strange to all kinds of fruits, but we definitely don't know how they grow from a seed. In this video, we follow Yuki Sato to witness the amazing life journey of a seed!

In spring, such a vibrant season, everything is thriving. Yuki Sato, who is a Japanese agronomist and a member of "Hai’Ou Community", visited Wenzhou Seedling Technology Park. Guided by Mr. Su Shiwen, an assistant researcher, Yuki Sato experienced the selection, cultivation and delivery of tomato seedlings. What’s more, he sowed tomato seeds in this park with his own hands. Yuki Sato said he is looking forward that the seeds he planted could complete the 'life journey' as early as possible.

During the visit, he learned that Wenzhou Seedling Technology Park has formed core industrial advantages in the seedling selection on many vegetables and grains such as rice, corn, cauliflower, tomatoes, cucumbers, blueberries, goldenrod, etc,. Integrated with the development of local agriculture, the researchers in the park give full play to their professional expertise and technical advantages to develop local seed industry, helping villagers achieve common prosperity. After seeing the students practising the operation of drones in the fields, Yuki Sato exclaimed, "Nowadays, agriculture is inseparable from technology."

Sowing a seed and waiting for it to complete its life journey. Countless seedlings in Wenzhou Seedling Technology Park are sent out to various places to take root and bear fruit. Life is nurtured here, growing stronger and stronger. That’s the wonder of nature. Yuki Sato will be back to see the seeds he planted here, So, what about you? Do you want to come here and sow a seed too?
