Jeniffer Tavira, a girl from Angola, is studying biotechnology at Wenzhou University. Together with friends from South Africa, Zimbabwe and other countries, she formed a band named “New Beginnings”. An original English song "I Love Wenzhou" made her become famous and a lot of people have known her. Recently, the film crew of the Wenzhou Overseas Media Center focused the camera on Jeniffer Tavira and listened to her telling the heart-warming story behind the creation of this song. 
Jeniffer Tavira said that their amateur band consists of 7 members. All of them are from different countries and have lived in Wenzhou for more than 3 years. Each one of them loves music. They like Wenzhou's scenery, food, culture and friendly Wenzhou people very much, and they feel the tolerance and family-like warmth in Wenzhou. The reason why they created this song "I Love Wenzhou" is mainly to express their feelings for Wenzhou, "Music is a way of communication that replace language, and we can express our emotions freely on the strength of it." 
It is understood that the song "I Love Wenzhou" has attracted the attention from many local citizens and international friends in Wenzhou since it was pushed through the Vlog series video program "Cool, Wenzhou!" hosted by Wenzhou People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries last year. During the video-shooting, Jeniffer Tavira and his friends come to Wenzhou’s many internet-famous sites for finding shooting views. She said that their understanding and love for Wenzhou have been strengthened once again after this shooting. 
The first season of activity titled "Handshake with the World · Listen to the Voices of Wenzhou" has ended successfully as of today. The activity was hosted by the Information Office of Wenzhou Municipal Government and Wenzhou Cyberspace Administration, and organized by Wenzhou Overseas Media Center, the Information Office of Lucheng District Government (Lucheng Cyberspace Administration), and Lucheng “Rong” Media Center. Since the first season of the activity was launched a few months ago, foreign anchors from 10 countries have been invited to check out Wenzhou’s famous sites to deliver happy voices from various aspects such as culture, charity, cultural tourism, art, and food. Each episode bilingual video is launched through more than 10 domestic and overseas media platforms and overseas social media platforms of Wenzhou Overseas Media Center, and has been praised and forwarded by many netizens at home and abroad, showing a happy Wenzhou with colorful culture to the world.
