At 2pm on April 12, a double-decker bus painted with Hangzhou Asian Games logo carried 30 Asian students from more than 10 countries, including Thailand, Vietnam, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan, heading toward Wenzhou streets and the Asian Games venues to experience Wenzhou's local culture and enjoy the atmosphere of Asian Games. It marked the official launch of the "Asian Games in Wenzhou" Promotion Campaign.

The first stop was the Wenzhou Sports Center, which will be one of the venues for Hangzhou Asian Games football matches. Wenzhou Sports Center Stadium was built in 1997 and has hosted many school sports meetings and large theatrical performances over the past 25 years, making it a landmark in eyes of countless Wenzhou people. According to the report, as a competition venue for Hangzhou Asian Games, it has been carefully renovated, and equipped with several advanced technologies, such as the intelligent grass maintenance system, liftable high-pole lamps, and so on. HOSEN, an international student from Bangladesh, said, "I’m so glad to be able to visit Wenzhou Sports Center Stadium. As a competition venue, all the equipments here have advanced intelligent technology to support their operations, including this beautiful competition lawn we are seeing!"

In Wuma Historical & Cultural Block, international students saw that eye-catching English sign boards had been erected here, showcasing a strong international atmosphere. The volunteers introduced the history and culture of Wuma street to these international friends in English. At the same time, the specially prepared English guide was welcomed by them. They could get the English guide easily by scanning the QR code with their mobile phones. During the tour, the ancient theatre, which follows the architectural aesthetics of ancient Dong’ou Kingdom, attracted international friends to stop by frequently. And the organizers invited them to taste Wenzhou's special pastries.

The last stop was Zhongguancun Information Valley·Wenzhou Innovation Center, which is located on Luhe Road, Lucheng District. This is a newly-emerged digital-economy industrial park in Wenzhou. By helping enterprises from within and outside Wenzhou to realize project cooperation, product innovation and technology upgrade, the Innovation Center serves as an incubator for science and technology enterprises, making more and more high-growth enterprises be born in Wenzhou. International friends said that they could feel Wenzhou's strong vitality and its surging development momentum in this information center.
