According to Hu Songqing, the inheritor of Wenzhou South Style-Kungfu, a provincial-level intangible cultural heritage, Wenzhou South Style-Kungfu is characterized by its strength, powerfulness, and mightiness. At the Yongjia Ouqu Martial Arts Center, Johnny met with Wu Xiang, a master of martial arts, from whom Johnny learned Wenzhou South Style-Kungfu. Johnny said: "Now, I come into contact with the real Chinese martial arts. I truly feel that whether you are a disciple or a master, as soon as you practice martial arts, you will be peaceful, quiet, and invincible." During the video-shooting, Johnny went to Wenzhou Martial Arts Museum to visit Jin Wenping, chairman of Wenzhou Association of South Style-Kungfu. Jin Wenping said that Wenzhou South Style-Kungfu has a long history and is the mother of Wenzhou Martial Arts. It’s also called “Boat Fist” because ancient Wenzhou people practiced it on the small boat. Wenzhou South Style-Kungfu has once played an important role in the struggle against the Japan’s invasion in Ming Dynasty. Today, Wenzhou people’s entrepreneurial spirit is in the same strain with the martial spirit of the past. They are not afraid of difficulty, hardship, or tiredness.This kind of spirit has taken root in the souls of Wenzhou people, leading them to keep fighting.
