Today is the fifteenth day of the first Lunar month, which is Chinese traditional Lantern Festival. One of the most important activities on the Lantern Festival is to enjoy the lantern show. In this episode, we follow Akmal, an overseas communication officer of Wenzhou Overseas Media Center and an anchor of “Hai’ou Community”, to visit Caocun Village in Rui'an, feeling the joyful festive atmosphere.

Caocun Village is known as the “first village of Chinese Jinshi”. And its lantern culture has a history of more than 800 years. In this video, Akmal experiences the festival culture with Chi Renqian, the inheritor of Wenzhou Boneless Lantern. Mr. Chi also teaches Akmal how to make boneless lanterns. Akmal tells us that it is the most interesting Lantern Festival he has spent in China.
