Tourist Routes


＋Rui’an· Beiji Island

Beiji Island is very quiet. The stone houses on the island are linked up into a single stretch, forming the unique architectural style of Beiji Island. The Beiji Island Ring Blvd is connected to the fishing village. Under the first ray of sunlight in the East China Sea, listening to the sounds of waves and accompanying bicycles, enjoy a quiet, and leisurely time here. How cozy it is!

Self-drive or take public transport to Rui’an South Gate Pier, then take the passenger ship "Rui’an Beiji" to Beiji Island.

＋Wencheng·Baizhangji

Wencheng Baizhangji waterfall is divided into 3 parts in a ladder shape. Since ancient times, there has been a saying that "The first part of Baizhangji waterfall is one hundred meters high, the second one is one hundred meters deep, and the third one is one hundred meters wide". With a drop of 207 meters, it is the largest waterfall in the country.

Cultural Exploration Route


＋Rui’an Zhongyi Street




Rui’an Zhongyi Street has more than 10 cultural relics and historical buildings. The intangible cultural heritage museums, drum poetry museums and folk collector Ye Maoqian's collections are also distributed in this block.

＋Rui’an·Shengjing Mountain



Shengjing Mountain Scenic Spot is characterized by picturesque peaks, beautiful waters, peculiar caves and grotesque rocks, integrating human and natural landscapes. Every spring, the slopes of Shengjing Mountain are full of brilliant red.


There is a stone temple built in the Southern Song Dynasty (1260 AD) on Shengjing Mountain. It is the earliest, largest, and most well-preserved all-stonebuilding complex in southern Zhejiang. It is now a national key cultural relics protection unit.


There is a well in the stone temple, which does not overflow or run dry all year round.Due to its extremely clean water quality, hence it got the name as “Holy Well”.

＋Rui’an Dongyuan Chinese Wood Type Printing

＋Wencheng·Liu Ji Temple

Wencheng Wuyang Village, known as the sixth of the seventy-two blessed places in the world, is the hometown of Liu Bowen, the great master who assisted Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang to establish the Ming Dynasty.

Liu Ji Temple was built in the third year during the reign of Emperor Tianshun in the Ming Dynasty (1459). It is one of the few family temples built by the emperor in Zhejiang.

＋Rui’an·National Flag Education Center



The National Flag Education Center is located on the top of the Xishan Mountain in Rui’an City, the hometown of the national flag designer Zeng Liansong, where visitors can learn about the culture of national flag.

＋Rui’an Happy Valley Amusement Park



Happy Valley Amusement Park has many international leisure and entertainment projects. It is a large modern park integrating thrill, excitement, dynamics, entertainment and leisure.

Tianding Lake Ecological Farm is a national 3A-level scenic spot and one of the ten most beautiful farms in Wenzhou. It is a tourism and leisure resort integrating leisure, sightseeing, experience, outdoor development, production, and technology demonstration and promotion.

Landscape Pastoral Route


＋Rui’an·Zhailiao Creek (Huayan National Forest Park)

The Huayan National Forest Park is rich in animal and plant species, with a forest coverage rate of 98.9%. It is a natural "forest oxygen bar".


With a 1026.6 meters altitude, wuyun Mountain is the highest mountain in Huayan Scenic Spot. The colorful fog appears very often in there. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can have a panoramic view of the surging East China Sea, dancing clouds, extending rainbow and other beautiful scenery, like a picture of mountains and seas.

＋Wencheng·Monkey King Valley



In the Monkey King Valley Scenic Spot, monkeys, muntjac, birds, finches and other wild animals shuttle through the forest from time to time. Especially, the cynomolgus monkeys always appear in droves.
