Ou Sculpture ornaments, Boxwood Carving ornaments, Ou Embroidery ornaments ...... A few days ago, multiple Wenzhou intangible cultural heritages went into Barcelona, the art city located on the Mediterranean coast. These meticulously crafted cultural products were sought after by the local people and tourists from all over the world. This is one of the series of events to promote Wenzhou intangible cultural heritages to the entire world.

This event is jointly organized by the Publicity Department of CPC Wenzhou Lucheng District Committee and Wenzhou Maritime Silk Road International Communication Base, Wenzhou Overseas Friendship Committee of China Zhi Gong Party, and CPPCC Committee Member Studio of Wenzhou Lucheng Destrict (Wenzhou Culture & Art Communication Hall of CPPCC Zhejiang Provincial Committee).

On that day, William from Barcelona, a foreign anchor of Wenzhou Maritime Silk Road International Communication Base, visited 3 "World Heritage Sites in Spain" (CASA MILà, Casa Batlló, and Park Güell) with Wenzhou cultural products such as Ou Sculpture ornaments, Boxwood Carving ornaments, Ou Embroidery ornaments. These 3 sites were designed by the talented designer Aotonio Gaudi, attracting tens of thousands of tourists from all over the world to visit every day.

"These cultural products come from Wenzhou, China. Crafted through ancient production process, they are exquisite and rich in deep historical and cultural deposits ......" On the street, William was full of passion to promote them to the local people. Spanish girl Natalia couldn’t put down the ceramic bracelet while exclaiming with surprise, "Wenzhou intangible cultural heritages are beautiful, so attractive!"

During the event, hundreds of cultural products were almost "snatched up". William said: "It’s a wonderful day for me. Through this event, I not only learn the brilliant Wenzhou culture, but also feel the significance of different cultural exchanges."

The organizers said that they select Barcelona to carry out this event because Wenzhou and Barcelona has established a "Sisters Cities" relationship in 2011. Barcelona is a world-renowned Mediterranean tourist destination and world-famous historical and cultural city, and also Spain's most important base for trade, industry and finance. Over the past ten years, the two cities have had extensive exchanges and cooperation in the fields of economy, culture, science and technology. In the next step, more cultural exchange events will be organized in France, Italy with the purpose of promoting mutual understanding, and telling good Chinese stories.
