Suo noodles, which are also known as “Longevity Noodles”, are slender and white as cotton yarns. Suo noodles are loved by ordinary people. It’s also one of the traditionally necessary food for women in confinement-in-childbirth. Nanshan Village in Pingyangkeng Town, Rui’an, is a well-known "Suo Noodles Village", where the traditional handmade noodle making skills have been passed down for more than 300 years.

In this video, Nigerian anchor Mingzhu came to Nanshan Village to learn how to make noodles from Lin Fazhu, a master of noodles-making. Making Suo Noodles is a laborious work. From kneading dough, rolling dough to pulling into strips, airing noodles and collecting noodles, all the work should be completed by our hands. Mingzhu experienced the time-consuming making process and sighed "This is really a hard work".

In the end, Mingzhu tasted the authentic Nanshan suo noodles made by Master Lin, which are soft and fresh with a natural fragrance. So delicious!
