The seventh day of the seventh lunar month is the Chinese traditional festival called Qixi Festival, also known as the "Chinese Valentine's Day."
The ancients would pray for blessings, pray for marriage, watch the heart-broken stars together, and eat snacks, such as Ma Qiao on this day.
The collective wedding ceremony on August 25 will be held from 16:00 to 17:00, and is currently accepting registrations from local couples in Wenzhou as well.
