The 2nd season of the bilingual video program "Cracking the Nuts of Wenzhou Dialects" is officially launched today. This series of videos is sponsored by Lucheng District Convergence Media Center. And Wenzhou Overseas Media Center is responsible for producing these videos and broadcasting them to the entire world. In this episode, we listen to Viviana, an Italian "Naihunan" (the same meaning as “expert” in English) in coffee-training, tell her life story in Wenzhou. From her narration, we can feel her constant pursuit for perfect skills.
In Wenzhou dialect, the word "Naihunan" is often used to refer to those experts who are experienced in their work. And Viviana from Italy, who has been in Wenzhou for 5 years, is such a "Naihunan". She’s keen on Sino-Italian cultural exchanges. When having free time, she likes participating in bilingual video-filming and cultural exchange activities organized by Wenzhou Overseas Media Center. She is a coffee trainer, and has shared many practical tips on coffee-making at “bilibili”, a domestic social media platform. In this episode, Viviana visited Wenzhou Huaqiao Vocational School, giving students a wonderful lesson about Western food by making an online interaction with Italian Michelin chef.
The bilingual video program "Cracking the Nuts of Wenzhou Dialects" Season 1 has drawn widespread attention since it was broadcast last year. In those videos, foreign anchors were taking strolls on Wenzhou’s streets, having breakfast at Wenzhou’s food stall and banquet dinner at hotel, experiencing the incredible Wenzhou folk arts, visiting Wenzhou’s beautiful countryside, sharing the happy time with the little students in the primary school. Our foreign friends explored the wonderful life of Wenzhou citizens, and showed the entire world a happy Wenzhou in their own way.
